Photoville Education
Photoville Edu provides year-round programming to engage young people and educators with visual storytelling through workshops, resources, and field trips.
In my role as Education Director (2013 to 2021):
Built education program from a 1-day festival field trip to a year-round program involving Teacher Professional Development Labs, educator grants,
lesson resource development, and supporting youth artists through exhibitions and speaking opportunities.
Build an education community of public schools and community programs educators and students from across NYC boroughs.
Manage production of annual field trip serving over 600 NYC students, leading a team of 20 teaching artists, 50 volunteers, and the production staff to run the program.
Create teacher resources such as lesson plans, toolkits and artist talk videos.
